Jimmy Holmes, Owner/Head Instructor 3rd Dan

Hope Holmes, Owner/Tae Kwon Do Instructor

Mr. Jimmy Holmes began his martial arts journey under Master George Stefanescu at the age of 10 and earned his black belt at the age of 16. He now holds a 3rd Dan (3rd Degree Black Belt) in Tae Kwon Do. He has trained under Master Jim Stoval and most notably, Grand Master Park. Jimmy is extensively training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and holds a purple belt.

Jimmy has competed in over 150 tournaments for Tae Kwon Do, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kickboxing and MMA on both the national and international levels. He is also a referee for tournaments and conducts seminars and workshops on self defense.

He opened Global Martial Arts in Tomball in 2004 where he has promoted numerous students to Black Belt. His current and former students also include several AAU National Champions. 

He attended Concordia High School and went on to attend the University of Houston where he ran track. He is active in the surrounding communities working with special needs children and teaching Bible study to 5th and 6th grade students. His commitment to further developing his own martial arts skills and sharing that knowledge with others is always ongoing.
